After living in Los Angeles and Seattle for 16 years, I moved back to Des Moines to take care of my mother whos health was failing from Alzheimers. After 5 years of helping my father take care of her, I convinced him to place my mother in a nursing home which she is still in and doing well. What I didnt realize at the time I moved back home, was that I only had 5 years left with my father who was my mentor, my friend, and my parent. He died of cancer in 1998. It was the worst and best time of my life because I was given an incredible gift.

The gift was the knowing that family is the single most precious blessing I have. Its not money, fancy cars or clothes, but the people who love you who are the greatest treasures in life. My spouse and I have a young daughter whom we spoil (with love) and I hope to pass this gift onto her. And another gift I received at the time I moved back to Des Moines was my real estate career which I work as a business and treat like my family. My father, who was in sales for 40 years, told me that "sales is just helping people get what they want." And thats what I do. 2. SELECTING Which one do you choose? Only you can make that decision, but I will give you honest, knowledgeable advice weighing the positives and negatives about each home. You will want to know if this home is a good investment now and if it has good resale value in your future.

3. FINANCING I can help you understand the various financial programs available and help you select the loan that best suits your individual needs.

4. WRITING THE OFFER TO BUY I will share with you my years of experience of selling hundreds of homes to help us write your offer to buy. Expert, honest advice concerning terms, price, inclusion or exclusion of items, inspections, etc. all come into play to protect your financial and legal interests.

5. NEGOTIATING I am your representative presenting your offer to the sellers. Again, years of experience and expertise selling hundreds of homes have given me the skills and proficiency to help you negotiate, reject and accept the best terms for you.

6. DUE DILIGENCE Now is the time to make further evaluations of the property such as inspections of the homes condition which may include structure, roof, termites, etc., as well as required title work and an appraisal. 7. ESCROW & CLOSING I will make sure your lender has all the required documents to make your transaction move through the closing process efficiently. 4. SECURITY I will save you time, effort and worry to assure that only interested pre-screened qualified prospects are brought through your home accompanied by an agent.

6. MONITORING AND CLOSING Questions may arise between the initial signing of the offer and closing.
